Walk-ins

How the line works

The same at both shops, every open day.

  • At the desk

    Give your name

Tell the desk what you're here for. A threader writes your name on the list. Booked clients are taken at their time, ahead of the list.

  • Busy: Saturday and after work

    Wait in order

The next available threader takes the next name. At busy times, Saturday afternoons and the hour after work, expect a longer wait. Ask the desk how it looks.

  • Optional

    Ask for a person

Want a particular threader? Say so, and we'll tell you when they are available. Or book them for a set time.

  • 30 minutes before close

    The line closes early

We stop adding names 30 minutes before the shop closes, so everyone on the list is done by closing.

Policies, before you come in

Short answers, the same at both shops. The policies page has the rest.

Booking and deposits

Walk-ins don't book and take no deposit. Full-face visits and groups of four or more are booked ahead, on the booking page or by phone at either shop. A group leaves a deposit that holds the chairs and goes toward the service.

Canceling and running late

For a booked visit, please give 24 hours' notice to move or cancel, and a group 48 hours. We hold a booked chair for 10 minutes. After that your visit moves to the next opening, or you can join the line.

Children and companions

Children are welcome with a parent or guardian, who stays in the room. We thread brows and the upper lip from age 12. Guests can wait in the front area, and at busy times we ask that only the person being threaded comes to the chair.

Patch tests and allergies

Threading uses cotton thread and nothing on the skin, so there is no patch test. Tell your threader if your skin reacts easily, if you use prescription skin medicine, or if you've had a peel or a wax in the last week, and we'll skip that area. If you notice burning, swelling, hives or blisters afterward, tell us and call your doctor or go to urgent care.

How the line works

Walk-ins give a name at the desk and are seen in order. Booked clients are taken at their time, so the line can pause for a minute while a booked visit starts. The line closes 30 minutes before the shop does, so everyone on the list is done by closing.

Two shops

Hours for each shop

Walk in at either one. Hours differ, so check the day.

The menu

Threading, with the time each takes

Walk in for brows and the small areas. Book ahead for a full face, a set time or a group.

Brows

The most common visit. Walk in at either shop.

  • Brow shape

    10–15 min

Thread along the top and bottom of the brow to a line you choose. Your threader checks the shape with you before the last pass.

    Book: Brow shape
  • Brow cleanup

    5–10 min

A tidy-up between shapes: the strays above and below, keeping the line you already have.

    Book: Brow cleanup

Face

Add any of these to a brow visit, or come for one.

Prices depend on the area and the time. They show when you book, and your threader confirms before the first pass.

Questions

Before you come in

Do I need an appointment?

Not for most services. Brows, lip, chin, forehead, sideburns and cheeks are walk-in at both shops. Full-face visits and groups of four or more are booked ahead.

How long will I wait?

It depends on the day. Weekday late mornings are the quietest. Saturday afternoons and the hour after work are the busiest. Call either shop and we'll tell you how the list looks.

How long does threading take?

A brow takes about 10 to 15 minutes, and a full face 30 to 40. Each service on the menu lists its time.

How often should I come?

Most clients come back every three to four weeks, once the hair is long enough to catch, about a quarter inch.

Can I bring my child?

Yes, with a parent or guardian in the room. We thread brows and the upper lip from age 12.

Do you do waxing, tinting or henna?

No. Tweeze threads brows and the face, and nothing else.

Can I buy a gift card?

Yes, in any amount, and it works at both shops.
