Questions

Questions, answered

Do I need an appointment?

Not for most services. Brows, lip, chin, forehead, sideburns and cheeks are walk-in at both shops. Full-face visits and groups of four or more are booked ahead.

How long will I wait?

It depends on the day. Weekday late mornings are the quietest. Saturday afternoons and the hour after work are the busiest. Call either shop and we'll tell you how the list looks.

How long does threading take?

A brow takes about 10 to 15 minutes, and a full face 30 to 40. Each service on the menu lists its time.

How often should I come?

Most clients come back every three to four weeks, once the hair is long enough to catch, about a quarter inch.

Can I bring my child?

Yes, with a parent or guardian in the room. We thread brows and the upper lip from age 12.

Do you do waxing, tinting or henna?

No. Tweeze threads brows and the face, and nothing else.

Can I buy a gift card?

Yes, in any amount, and it works at both shops.

Can a group book together?

Yes. Four or more are booked ahead so every person has a chair. A group leaves a deposit that goes toward the service.

What should I do before I come in?

Come with skin washed and dry, and no makeup on the area if you can. Let the hair come back to about a quarter inch since the last wax or shave.

What if my skin reacts?

Some redness right after is common. If you notice burning, swelling, hives or blisters, tell us and call your doctor or go to urgent care.

What does threading feel like?

Most people feel quick pulls along the line. Sensitivity varies. Tell your threader if you want to pause.
